Graduate Research Exchange

The presentations today at the Graduate Research Exchange were amazing! I was honored to be a discussant and scorer. I learned so much and the experience was just as beneficial to me as it was to the students. I was able to see all the different research going on at the university and was amazed at what our students within our college and across campus were doing!

All of the children were amazing last night! Jacqueline was beaming afterwards. The elementary group out did themselves. The Festival Choir teacher did a fantastic job and those children from Kaufman were superb! I know Ms. Lewis was proud of them! I have to admit that the high school students almost had me in tears.. They sang Soon-ah Will Be Done with most beautiful voices ever!

2nd Place Winners!

The girls were amazing tonight. They took 2nd place in Regions in Community Outreach plus they won the Renaissance award! WooHoo! I was so very proud of them. A special Thank You to all the SHSU students who supported them at Caregivers Night Out and donating craft supplies. Without your help this would not have been possible. They have learned some very incredible lessons :)
