Here is a picture of a few of the girls from Kaufman who are working on an ACE/DI project with Desperate for Respite. They put a donation box out to collect craft supplies for Caregivers Night Out held at DfR. This box is at SHSU (Teacher Education Center) so if you have a few extra supplies stop by and drop them off. I am sooo proud of these girls and especially my little Jacqueline- all of them have learned so much about diversity and the true meaning of serving others. God is so good to us for teaching these lessons!!

Today someone asked me what would make me stop smiling.. Ha! I had to laugh... she obviously is not around me enough...just take away my chocolate! Actually, it was a fantastic day despite Bobby being sick, the car being in the shop, Christopher behind the wheel, a million and one meetings and Jacqueline needing rides all over town... hmmm..maybe I need to rethink that statement :)

SCEC Conference HUGE Success!

Thank you everyone who helped organize and who attended the SHCEC conference on Friday. We had another successful years of educating individuals about programs and current research in the field of special education!
